[Service Virtualization]: Messaging Support with IBM MQ

BlazeMeter Service Virtualization now supports Messaging, starting with IBM MQ—the most widely used messaging middleware. This enables asynchronous communication between applications via message queues and topics, improving system resilience by decoupling senders and receivers.

Key highlights:

  • Support for Queues and Topics
  • Virtualization of Point-to-Point, Publish-Subscribe, and Request/Reply architectures
  • New recording functionality allows users to capture messages via virtual queues/topics to create messaging-based virtual services

This marks a major expansion of BlazeMeter’s virtualization capabilities into enterprise messaging environments.

[API Testing & Monitoring]: AI Script Assistant

Introducing the AI Script Assistant, designed to simplify and accelerate script creation across test steps and settings using natural language input.

No more scanning through documentation or memorizing JavaScript syntax—the AI Script Assistant helps you write, validate, and refine scripts with ease.

Subtests Now Use Configured Test Locations: Subtests now run in the location defined in their Environment settings, rather than defaulting to the parent test’s location. This change provides better environment-level control and more accurate test execution, especially for distributed or environment-specific testing.

[API Testing & Monitoring] Subtests Now Use Configured Test Locations

Previously, subtests were restricted to running in the same location as the parent test, which limited flexibility in environment-specific configurations. Based on user feedback, subtests now automatically use the location defined in their own Environment settings, allowing for more accurate and tailored test execution across distributed environments.
