Community Manager

Job Location: North America; Work from home with ~40% travel.

Description:

  • Build, maintain and develop a cohesive, productive and effective BlazeMeter user community.
  • Evangelize BlazeMeter with a strong focus on Apache JMeter and represent the company at events, globally.
  • Act as a point of reference for this community in its growth, opportunities, and resolving issues.
  • Develop and maintain a set of online training resources and build community participation to generate and optimize content for and from the user community.
  • Lead community user events both online and in person.
  • Liaise with the BlazeMeter team to align the direction and requirements of the user community with company needs and goals.
  • Regularly acquire and evaluate feedback from the community and partners.

Specifications:

Solid technical knowledge of JMeter. Strong load testing, development and specifically, Jmeter skills and experience, strong networking and social networking skills, good public speaking skills, good relationship building abilities, process driven, able to manage multiple work streams,independent, willing to travel (potentially) 40% of the time, able to communicate well in written form and produce electronic content.
